“It’s been a real observational process to learn how my mental state impacts my surfing and vice versa. I didn’t have a clue of how that worked at the beginning of surfing. I thought it was purely a physical sport and I think it was quite shocking because no one really guides you through it. No one kind of understood the frustration and the upwelling of emotions and thoughts that came from surfing… But that’s why I found it so challenging and so awakening I guess.” Natalie Fox
